Three Rivers Home Health Named to 2008 HomeCare Elite

HomeCare Elite, a listing of the top 25 percent of all home health agencies in the country, recently named Three Rivers Home Health (TRHH) to its 2008 list.

Using Medicare quality and financial data, HomeCare Elite is a compilation of the most successful Medicare-certified home health care providers in the U.S. The listing is based on agencies whose performance measures in quality outcomes, quality improvement, and financial performance are the best in the country.

Tom Brown, director of Asante Hospice and Home Care Services, said, "This is a wonderful accomplishment for the staff of Three Rivers Home Health. This is the first time that TRHH has made the Elite list."

One of the important ways this happened was through the results obtained in the Healthcare Quality Improvement project. The staff significantly reduced the number of hospitalizations of home health patients, Brown said.
