Three Rivers Community Hospital (TRCH)

If you're looking for the opportunity to practice in a close-knit, community-focused setting, you'll feel right at home in this 125-bed full-service hospital. TRCH is home to a full range of patient care services. All are infused with our unique patient-centered philosophy. A strong example of this philosophy can be found in our Family Birthing Center. This very special unit has gained an international reputation for exceptional caring.

  • Designated "Baby Friendly" by the World Health Organization and UNICEF.

  • Designed to empower families in the care of both mother and baby.

  • Home-like birthing rooms, featuring whirlpool spas and a daybed.

  • Approximately 800 births annually and growing.

  • Advanced technology, including GE Fetal Monitoring System, Medical Administration and Charting System (MAK), and Optilink Accuity System.

The birthing center offers a number of important elements, including:

Although a mid-sized hospital in a small town setting, TRCH is a busy place that sees a wide array of diagnoses. Our Emergency department sees approximately 36,000 patients per year, and our operating rooms utilize the latest state-of-the-art equipment. Nurses have the advantage of working in a friendly community hospital, while also learning new skills and growing professionally. Decentralized staffing allows for flexible schedules that help you balance work with your family commitments and personal interests.

Pharmacy

As a pharmacist with Asante, you will have unequaled opportunities to make the most of your talent and experience. Pharmacy practice settings include both centrally-located and unit-based pharmacists. Staff pharmacists also participate as key members of the health care team, participating in:

Strong technological support.

At Asante, we strive to provide our pharmacists with the technology systems that enable them to spend more time providing pharmaceutical care, clinical functions and patient safety. These systems include:

  • Automated dispensing cabinets

  • Electronic document management for physician orders

  • Bedside medication verification (barcoding)

  • Integrated information system, allowing access to demographics, labs, nurse charting, etc.

  • Drug information systems (Micromedex and Up-to-Date)

  • Automated complex I.V. compounding

We will soon be enhancing our technology even further to include clinical documentation, physician order entry, and electronic medical records. We also maintain an extensive medical library with librarian support.

Imaging

Your Enrichment, Our Commitment

Asante features one of the most technologically advanced imaging environments in the Pacific Northwest, as well as one of the most capable teams of physicians, nurses, technologists and support staff in the country.

Rogue Valley Medical Center (RVMC)

Our Imaging department at RVMC performs more than 100,000 procedures annually, and it was designed with future growth and technology in mind. At Asante, you'll have the opportunity to work with one of the best teams of physicians in the country in a technologically advanced environment that includes:

  • A four-room cardiovascular lab (CVL) and a new endovascular surgical suite. The CVL utilizes the Witt/Phillips Cardiovascular Information and PACS System. Our cardiovascular lab is one of the reasons RVMC has been recognized by the [American Heart Association’s Get with the Guidelines] program with its Gold Award.

  • Two computed tomography (CT) scanners, one of which is a 64-slice scanner with advanced visualization (3D) workstations.

  • Five new Siemens radiology rooms, consisting of two digital radiography (DR) rooms, two fluoroscopy rooms, and a general radiography/tomography room.

  • Siemens Novius RIS, Fuji computerized radiography, and a Fuji Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

  • Nuclear Medicine department with two Phillips/ADAC dual head cameras as well as one single head camera.

  • Ultrasound departments with general, vascular and echocardiography in eight exam suites.

  • A 14-bed cardiovascular pre-post recovery unit.

  • Women's Imaging with the most comprehensive breast health services in Jackson County. Includes stereotactic breast biopsies, comprehensive breast imaging and computer aided detection (CAD). We are 100 percent digital with brand new digital mammography units.

Three Rivers Community Hospital (TRCH)

The TRCH Imaging department is designed by imaging professionals to be highly efficient in handling approximately 70,000 procedures annually. It features:

  • Four radiology rooms (two general radiology rooms and two fluoroscopy rooms)

  • Ultrasound services that include general, vascular and echo

  • Nuclear Medicine department with both single-head and dual-head (Siemens Ecam) cameras

  • Computerized Tomography department that includes a 64-slice scanner with advanced visualization (3D) workstations

  • Siemens Novius RIS, Fuji computerized radiography and a Fuji Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)

  • Witt/Phillips Cardiovascular Information System for digital echocardiograms

  • A new catheterization lab and angiography suite

  • Women's Imaging department that includes fully digital mammography, bone-density testing, and computer aided detection (CAD).

  • We will be opening a Diagnostic Cardiovascular Lab in 2009.

Asante is accredited by the American College of Radiology and is MQSA-certified by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Lab

With our two CAP accredited laboratories and high-volume, wide-ranging services (60 percent of our volume is lab outreach), Asante offers a wide spectrum of exceptional opportunities. No matter what your interests or professional background, we have a place for you. Opportunities exist to work in general lab, marketing, laboratory information systems, research and development, education, billing and regulatory/compliance.

Rogue Valley Medical Center (RVMC)

The Laboratory department conducts more than one million tests per year. It was a major factor in RVMC being recognized by the American Heart Association’s Get with the Guidelines program with a Gold Award. Our staff of skilled professionals covers a full range of specialties, including chemistry, special chemistry, hematology, blood bank, cytology, microbiology and histology. This lab is also a Red Cross Depot Center and offers an extensive esoteric menu through Special Chemistry. The lab features the following equipment:

  • Chemistry Automation Line – one of the first sites in the state to offer this feature

  • Sunquest (Misys) LIS

  • CoPath Pathology software system

  • Atlas physician office order and EMR interface

  • QualityLink P&P system

  • DXC 800

  • DXI 800

  • LH 750

  • Advance

  • ProVue Automation available in Blood Bank and Ortho BB Gel system

  • Automated MIC and Blood Culture Instrumentation in Microbiology

In addition to supporting our nationally recognized cardiovascular program, our labs support a wide range of clinical specialties, including oncology, a neonatal intensive care unit, three general intensive care units, and trauma care. In addition to being CAP accredited, our laboratory at RVMC is also AABB certified.

Three Rivers Community Hospital (TRCH)

A staff of exceptional individuals at TRCH laboratory conducts approximately 375,000 tests per year. Departments represented within the lab include hematology, chemistry, and blood bank in addition to limited microbiology and pathology. The lab provides STAT testing for our Emergency department that treats 36,000 patients per year and provides services for our active Oncology/Infusion Service department. The lab features the following equipment:
