Our Behavioral Health unit provides inpatient care and stability for people experiencing a mental health crisis. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, this secure unit serves adults age 18 and older.  In emergency situations, our Psychiatric Crisis unit in the Emergency Room provides just-in-time care for people of all ages, including medical detoxification.

Medical Team

We’re here when you need us. As a patient on the Behavioral Health unit, you will be surrounded by a team of caring experts:
  • Psychiatrists
  • Registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and a clinical nurse specialist trained in mental health issues
  • Mental health assistants and psychiatric technicians (CNAs)
  • Occupational therapists
  • Mental health therapists
  • Social workers
  • Clinical manager and office staff

The medical team on the ER’s Psychiatric Crisis unit includes a doctor and on-call psychiatrist as well as registered nurses and technicians trained in behavioral health and emergency services.
