Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy is the use of drugs to destroy cancer cells. Often, these drugs are delivered directly to the vein through an IV (intravenous needle).

Chemotherapy may be provided at the Three Rivers Medical Plaza, at home or at one of our outpatient infusion centers in Grants Pass or Medford. Treatment is provided by specially trained registered nurses certified in oncology. Your nurse monitors your treatment closely and educates you and your family on what to expect during and after chemotherapy.

Chemotherapy experts are part of your overall cancer care team, working together to meet your unique treatment needs.
