When seconds count, you need a team of highly trained doctors and nurses working together fast and efficiently. In any situation, from major trauma to heart attacks to broken bones or midnight fevers, the Three Rivers Community Hospital Emergency Services team is here to respond with skill and compassion.
Get Care
If you believe you are experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency, call 911. For all health issues needing immediate attention, our doors are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
When you arrive at the Three Rivers Community Hospital Emergency Services department, a nurse will quickly determine how we can best care for you. For your benefit, Emergency Services does not run on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Patients with the most critical needs are seen first.
Medical Team
All of Three Rivers Community Hospital's Emergency Services caregivers have advanced training in trauma care and life support for people of all ages. During your visit to the Emergency Services department, your care team may include board-certified emergency doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and hospitalists.
Doctors
Our Emergency Services doctors have special training in trauma, advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS). Along with board-certified emergency doctors, we have doctors with decades of experience in emergency medicine.
Hospitalists
Our hospitalists are fully-trained doctors who devote their time solely to the hospital and are available around the clock.
Nurses
Our Emergency Services nurses have special training in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), trauma nurse core course (TNCC), and pediatric advanced life support (PALS). Nurse practitioners (FNPs) and physician assistants (PAs) - Our FNPs and PAs have special training in emergency care. They see people of all ages and their families in our emergency department.
Our Emergency Services team is backed by Three Rivers Community Hospital's total spectrum of services. If you need emergency surgery, lab work, diagnostic tests such as a CT scan or X-ray, or if you need to be hospitalized or scheduled for follow-up appointments, Three Rivers Community Hospital provides it all.
