An illness can be stressful enough. Staying in a hospital far from the comfort of home and loved ones is an added challenge - but it doesn't have to be. Three Rivers Community Hospital understands that healing is not just physical, but emotional, too. That's why we offer a "home away from home" for out-of-town patients and family members traveling to receive care at our facility.

At the Family House in Grants Pass, patients and their families can remain close to each other and the hospital while enjoying some comforts of home. Patients traveling long distances on a regular basis for outpatient care can stay with us during their treatment.

Amenities

The Family House is designed for self-service. Guests can prepare meals in the common kitchen area and wash clothes in the fully equipped laundry room. Amenities include free parking, television and DVD or VHS player. In addition, both houses offer a library and a children's playroom. A staff member is available 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday to accommodate guests' needs.
