Family House

About The Family House

Adults and children receiving care at Three Rivers Community Hospital, and their families, are invited to stay at the Family House. Affordable, temporary lodging is available based on vacancy and financial need.

Our Facility

The Family House is a gift of the Grants Pass Association of Realtors and the Grants Pass community,whose time, energy and resources made the building a reality. It is a "home away from home" where families can connect through the common experience of illness, to offer mutual support and share laughter and tears.

The Family House is a peaceful refuge for patients and families. The 7,400 square foot facility is located on 2.5 acres and is within easy walking distance of Three Rivers Community Hospital. We offer seven guest rooms with private baths, a large kitchen, and common living and dining spaces.

Guests may prepare meals in the kitchen and eat together in the dining room. Additional amenities include a fully equipped laundry room, television, DVD player, a children's playroom and free parking. Five RV spaces are also available next to the house.

The Family House accommodates a maximum of 20 people.

Reserving a Room

To ask about reserving a room at the Family House, call us at (541) 479-4590. Rooms are provided according to greatest need. You may call ahead to be put on the waiting list. The maximum length of stay is 12 consecutive days.

Check-in time is between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Check-out time is 11:30 a.m.

Cost

Guests are asked to donate as much as they can afford toward the cost of $40 per room per night, or $25 per space per night for the RV park. No one is turned away for inability to pay. Additional donations are always welcome, and they help the Three Rivers Community Hospital Foundation maintain the facility.
