Senior Counselor

Margy worked as an intern counselor for Providence Medical
Center in Medford with the elderly and caregiving population, as well as
Trinity Respite Center in Ashland with the same population. She worked as a volunteer with Asante
Hospice and her work with Winterspring, Center for Living With Grief and Loss,
centered on issues of loss and bereavement.
Margy worked with Asante Counseling Services and EAP in
Medford during her internship; she is currently employed through Asante as a
Senior Counselor in the Employee Assistance Program and Counseling
Service. Her current employment
affords her an opportunity to counsel folks with problems ranging from anxiety,
depression, and bereavement, to drugs and alcohol, life transitions, work/life
balance, and couples with marital difficulties. An addition, she provides trainings on a myriad of topics
from Sexual Harassment to Grief and Loss to Humor in the Workplace.
