Biography
Dr. Eric Martin’s career in surgery grew out of a passion for Psychology, developed while he was still in high school in his native Medford. As an undergraduate at Southern Oregon University, he discovered an equal aptitude for biology and chemistry, and graduated pre-med in 1983, with honors. His medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University led him to a Urology residency at Albany, NY. There, he served as Chief Resident in Urology at both AMC and the Albany Veteran’s Hospital.
A fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Martin enjoys keeping up with emerging research about the link between treating diseases of the mind and the body. His desire to listen closely to his patients’ needs and concerns infuses his surgical practice with compassion, and he takes great pride in his reputation for excellent care.
Dr. Martin feels extremely fortunate to have been able to return to his home in Southern Oregon, with his wife Heather and their three children. His mission is to provide our community with state-of-the-art urologic care.
