Biography
Dr. Judith Redd Oursler
Board certified in dermatology in 1995 and recertified in 2004, Dr. Oursler moved to Medford in 1994 to practice dermatology. She was raised in Florida and graduated magna cum laude from Davidson College in North Carolina. She completed medical school and a medical internship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, in Baltimore, Maryland. Following internship, she received a fellowship grant to research paraneoplastic pemphigus at Johns Hopkins with Dr. Grant Anhalt. She then completed her dermatology residency training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She moved to Medford Oregon in 1994 topractice dermatology, becoming board certified in 1995 and recertified in 2004.
Dr. Oursler is an active member of numerous professional societies including the American Academy of Dermatology, the Pacific Dermatology Association, and the Oregon Dermatology Society. She has volunteered in Southern Oregon teaching school children about skin protection and cancer prevention. She also volunteers as a dermatologist for Vol Pac and has been active in organizing and participating in the yearly cancer screening programs of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Oursler enjoys many outdoor activities in beautiful southern Oregon including skiing, camping, hiking, rowing and running.
