Richard R. Battey, MD

Biography

Dr. Battey attended Louisiana State University where he also did his residency. He and his family moved here in 1993. He has five children of his own and in his spare time enjoys working on anything mechanical. Dr. Battey is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

He chose to go into obstetrics because he enjoys being a part of this joyous time in people's lives, when they are bringing a child into this world. His most important advice for his pregnant patients is to remember that everything the mom does, the baby experiences: food, alcohol, drugs, exercise... everything!
