Biography
Dr. Paula Vanderford received her medical degree in 1984 from the University of Southern California School of Medicine. She completed her residency at USC Pediatric Pavilion, and the Navy Hospital in Oakland, CA. Dr. Vanderford served in the United States Naval Reserve as a pediatrician from 1987-1990, and was appointed Lieutenant Commander in 1988. Her Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship followed at Children's Hospital in Oakland, CA, and at the University of California in San Francisco. She received her board certification in Pediatrics in 1988, and was board certified in Pediatric Critical Care in 1994.
