Biography
Richard Huffaker, DO, provides specialized ear, nose, and throat care to adults and children.
Dr. Huffaker earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, Missouri. He completed a residency in otolaryngology at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, as well as a fellowship in head and neck cancer and reconstructive surgery with CENTA Group—St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital in Indiana.
As a head and neck surgical oncologist, Dr. Huffaker has a special interest in oral cancer awareness. Before joining Asante in September 2012, he biked 3,000 miles from Washington, D.C. to Grants Pass in an effort to raise funds for oral cancer research.
Originally from Colorado, Dr. Huffaker is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys southern Oregon recreation including fishing, hiking and biking trails. He values being part of the Grants Pass close-knit community.
