Biography
Born in Seattle, Washington in 1950, Dr. Driver inherited his medical aptitude from his father, also a surgeon. He grew up in the beautiful Roseburg hills, exploring the branches of the Umpqua River with his five brothers and sisters. In 1968, he graduated from the local high school and headed straight for the bright lights of Palo Alto, California, home of Stanford University.
Dr. Driver returned to Oregon and continued his studies at OSU, moving on to the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland and graduating in 1975. His surgery residency was at the University of Colorado, and he returned to OHSU for his urology training. With his wife Kay and their family, he has been living in the Rogue Valley since 1982.
For the last 20 years, Dr. Driver has been specializing in general urology. It is through his dedication to this work that his caring and personal approach has evolved over the past two decades. He is committed to improving the lives of his many patients through the latest and most beneficial surgical techniques.
