Balanced scorecard

Honesty and transparency are vital to excellent care. Asante developed a Balanced Scorecard (BSC) to monitor our progress. We share this information openly because we have high standards and even higher aspirations. We want patients, employees, physicians, and our entire community to hold us to these principles so that we continuously improve the health and well-being of the people we serve.

In addition to our internal BSC tracking, Asante participates in the Oregon Patient Safety Reporting Program, publicly sharing our scorecard information. We are proud of our record of improving patient safety by meeting and/or exceeding Oregon Patient Safety Commission standards.

Accountability to our patients

How we measure up: The Balanced Scorecard

Being accountable to our patients and community is essential to earning your trust and building a reputation for excellence. Accountability means making the right clinical and managerial decisions, managing resources efficiently, and measuring our performance against state and national benchmarks. These goals are achieved with the help of our Balanced Scorecard.
