Rogue Regional Medical Center and Three Rivers Medical Center earn five-star ratings, spots on Forbes Top Hospitals 2026 list

Forbes Top Hospitals Five-Star Honoree 2026 BadgeForbes has named Rogue Regional Medical Center and Three Rivers Medical Center on its Top Hospitals 2026 list. The prestigious distinction reflects the excellence and dedication of local health care teams. According to Forbes, these ratings are designed to evaluate general acute care hospitals in the U.S. and can be used as a resource for patients to find hospitals that can offer top-notch, high-value medical services.

“As a non-profit health care provider for our rural communities, we are grateful for the high honor of this recognition. The skilled, compassionate work happening daily in our hospitals is evident. We are committed to this excellence and appreciate each member of our team’s commitment,” said Patrick Sharp, CEO, Three Rivers Medical Center.

The award analyzed data from the Provider Data Catalog (PDC) created by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Health care quality measures were evaluated in patient outcomes, hospital best practices, value and patient experience. Approximately 5,400 general acute hospitals were initially eligible for consideration. Roughly 2,600 met the inclusion criteria. Of the hospitals evaluated, only 259 hospitals were recognized as five-star honorees, including Rogue Regional and Three Rivers.

“This honor is about the people who work here, sharing their talents, time and energy. They are passionate about providing the best care. We are proud of their achievements, and this honor reflects that hard work,” said Jon Cooper, CEO, Rogue Regional Medical Center.
