Asante Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit

The Asante Inpatient Behavioral Health unit was remodeled and expanded in 2020 to address the growing need for acute mental health care in Southern Oregon. The facility now:

  • Offers 24 beds, a courtyard garden and calming spaces for patients.

  • Employs the Sanctuary Model, an evidence-based and trauma-informed approach to care.

    Instead of asking a patient, “What’s wrong with you?” we ask, “What’s happened to you?” This model focuses on providing healing environments in which patients can overcome the root causes of their issues.
