Over the next 10 years, Asante is embarking on its largest growth and development plan yet. It includes a $1 billion investment in the community for new construction, renovation, deferred maintenance, planned replacement, equipment and information technology.
Access to health services is a driving force behind these plans, which encompass Jackson and Josephine counties. Not only is access a strategic goal for Asante, it’s a priority to have rooms available for the people who rely on us to take care of them.
Opening in early 2023, the 323,600 ft² six-floor extension will help us meet the growing need for emergency care, women’s and children’s services, heart care and surgery in Southern Oregon.
Opening Jan. 2022, the 80,000 ft² Cancer Center will house all outpatient cancer services for one-stop patient convenience, including radiation therapy, infusion services, education and support services.
Opening in early 2022, the 21,000-square-feet addition will offer infusion, lab and pharmacy services in Grants Pass.
Recently opened in Dec. 2020, the expanded and renovated Emergency Department doubled in size to accommodate the growing population in Grants Pass.
Recently opened in spring 2020, the unit expanded to 24 beds to address the growing need for acute mental health care.
AsanteForward is our most ambitious and significant philanthropic effort to date, with a goal of at least $50 million. The purpose of the campaign is to transform the quality and scope of health care available in Asante’s nine-county region, providing residents with exceptional medical care in our own community.
The best thing about working for Asante is the people I have the honor of meeting every day, from my coworkers to my patients and their friends and families. Our community is filled with amazing people and the atmosphere at Asante is always friendly and welcoming. Melanie Lyda, RN – Asante Three Rivers Medical Center
What I love about being a part of Asante is the relationship that I have developed with employees and the communities we serve. Asante has been extremely supportive in my career development and it is rewarding to utilize my skills in giving back to the community.
