Support Areas: RN Strategy and New Grad Nursing Residency Program serving all three of Asante’s hospitals
As a Talent Consultant, I work to support our nurse recruiters and nursing leaders to create and develop Talent strategies aimed with focus on recruiting and retention. I work directly with our new grad nurses and enjoy talking through their options and providing recommendations as they embark on their nursing career. What I am most passionate about in my role is developing talent strategies that make a lasting and positive impact on Asante. I have been with Asante for 15 years and love working with people that I can have fun with! Outside of my work, I am most happy when exercising, gardening and spending time with my family and two husky dogs, doing what most Oregonians love to do: camping, boating and mountain biking!
Support Areas: RN Medical Surgical, Women’s and Children’s Infusion Services serving Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center and Asante Ashland Community Hospital
As a Senior Recruiter, I facilitate and manage the recruitment process for nurses and Asante’s leadership. The thing I love most about my job is engaging with top talent nurses across the country and recruiting them to Southern Oregon to help our community. I have lived in Southern Oregon my entire life, and I have worked at Asante since 2018. In my free time I love mountain biking, hiking, camping, cooking on the BBQ with my family and friends.
Support Areas: RN Critical Care, Emergency Room, Resource Team, Cardiovascular, Surgery Services and Nursing Administration serving all three of Asante’s hospitals
As a Senior Recruiter, I support Hiring Managers across Asante’s 3 hospitals through recruiting and marketing our Nursing positions. I am passionate about my work and enjoy the collaboration and communication with my Hiring Managers and candidates! A few favorite aspects of my role are creating and building relationships with out of area candidates who are interested in relocating to our area and being an active part of their application process. I also love working with our current nurses to help them explore different specialty areas within Asante. I recently celebrated 31 years with Asante! Outside of work, I love to recharge with friends and family while exercising, having spa days, reading and discovering new local wineries!
Support Areas: RN Medical Surgical, Women’s & Children’s, Infusion and CNAs, primarily serving Asante Three Rivers Medical Center
Growing up in Southern Oregon, I have mostly resided in the Klamath Falls and in Grants Pass area. Family and baseball are my two of my favorite things in life! I have a husband of 22 years and two amazing children, Caleb and Averie! Averie is studying Diagnostic Medical Sonography at OIT and our family loves watching Caleb play baseball any chance we get! I have been part of the Asante family for 18-years and absolutely love working with the Asante leaders and candidates here at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center (ATRMC). My favorite part of being a recruiter is working closely with talented and motivated candidates and helping them find a perfect fit for them at ATRMC.
Support Areas: CNAs for various specialties serving Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center and Asante Ashland Community Hospital.
As a Recruiter, I love to work with people to find their passion and pathway in healthcare. I primarily work with our CNA’s and find it rewarding to see them go on and explore growth within Asante. Originally from Eugene, I spend most of my time enjoying all that Oregon has to offer. You can find me on the lake during summer and on snow filled trails come winter. I embark on all my adventures with my Husband, Alex, and Australian Shepherd, Murphy.

As a Human Resource Specialist, I support our new hires as they onboard. I have been living in Southern Oregon and working for Asante for a little over two years. Outside of work, I love exploring the beautiful outdoors through kayaking, fishing and visiting the many wineries. At work, I am passionate about working on process improvement and candidate experience projects and having the opportunity to meet new people as they join the Asante family!

After being with Asante for over two years, I am still most excited when I offer a job to a candidate. Hearing the excitement in their voice reminds me of how excited I was to join Asante! Living in Southern Oregon is a blast! Growing up here, I have really enjoyed watching the progression and growth of Southern Oregon. Favorite hobbies of mine are eating junk food, riding ATV’s at the dunes on the beautiful Oregon coast and enjoying a warm campfire with my friends and family (including our three dog children!).

As a recruiting assistant I help guide and facilitate new hires with the required onboarding tasks prior to starting at Asante. I work to accommodate all new hires and their initial experience with Asante by preparing them for their respective roles. Born and raised in Southern Oregon, I’ve spent almost my entire life residing here in Medford. I enjoy to fish, hunt, and do almost anything that involves the outdoors! I love the aspect of meeting new people and knowing that I am assisting those who are serving our community.
The best thing about working for Asante is the people I have the honor of meeting every day, from my coworkers to my patients and their friends and families. Our community is filled with amazing people and the atmosphere at Asante is always friendly and welcoming. Melanie Lyda, RN – Asante Three Rivers Medical Center
What I love about being a part of Asante is the relationship that I have developed with employees and the communities we serve. Asante has been extremely supportive in my career development and it is rewarding to utilize my skills in giving back to the community.
