Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center added Oregon’s first obstetrics emergency department in 2019. Housed in the Family Birth Center at the hospital, the OB/ED offers around-the-clock coverage by obstetricians and obstetric nurses for pregnant women with urgent and emergent conditions.
Our nurses in Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center’s Cath Lab helped the hospital receive IBM Watson Health’s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals in the nation award—that’s out of 989 U.S. hospitals with cardiovascular services.

Dr. Joy Anderson, who headed up Asante's effort to become the first certified Obstetrics Emergency Department in Oregon, describes the myriad ways Asante is keeping moms and their babies safe at our Family Birth Centers.
Asante Three Rivers Medical Center has earned the Pathway to Excellence designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center three times. It was the first hospital in Oregon, and then one of only nine in the western United States, to earn the distinction. The award recognizes the hospital’s shared decision-making, leadership, safety, quality, well-being among its nurses and professional development.
