Joanne Kliejunas, PhD
Presenter: Joanne Kliejunas
Dr. Kliejunas has a PhD in theory of the family, which has led her to work on end-of-life issues as they are lived by all of us. She has a practice encouraging conversations about such matters with individuals and within families. She has been a presenter for COHO (Choosing Options, Honoring Options) and for local health organizations. She is a hospice volunteer and has taught an expanded version of this course at OLLI since 2012.
Four interconnected sessions help you understand and approach the end-of-life decisions that are yours to make, including Oregon Advance Directives. These sessions are less about organizing your affairs and more about sensitively preparing yourself and your loved ones. In short, this is a thoughtful exploration of how to live your life fully — through to your last breath.
