As the COVID-19 vaccine is becoming available in southern Oregon, Asante is working within Oregon Health Authority guidelines to expand access to the vaccine in our community.

Calendar appointment timeStarting January 10: Scheduling is open to those in Phase 1A or Phase 1B, Group 1 as defined by the OHA.

  • Phase 1A includes anyone serving in a health care setting such as emergency medical services, nurses, nursing assistants, home-health personnel, doctors, therapists, pharmacists, dentists and others not directly involved in patient care, but who could be exposed to infectious agents that can be transmitted in the health care setting.
  • Phase 1B, Group 1 includes childcare providers, early learning and Pre-K-12 educators and staff.

What to expect

Participants will receive two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, roughly three weeks apart. To prepare for the vaccination, please watch this video.

Volunteer Opportunities

Starting January 10: At present, there are many opportunities for clinical professionals to assist with the vaccination clinics and help our community move closer to immunity.
