About this Provider

Kent Dauterman, MD earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Toledo where he was Valedictorian of the College of Arts and Sciences. He then served as a Peace Corps Public Health Volunteer in Africa before earning his medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where he was among the top three graduates. 

His medicine residency and cardiology fellowship were at the University of California, San Francisco where he was chosen to serve as chief resident and chief fellow. 

His most recent training includes two years at the Cleveland Clinic as a fellow in interventional cardiovascular medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology and is a Fellow both of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Coronary Angiography and Intervention. 

Dr. Dauterman specializes in interventional cardiovascular medicine, which includes coronary and carotid stenting. He is responsible for establishing the carotid stent program at RVMC. He has served as Chief of Cardiology at RVMC and Providence Medical Center. Dr. Dauterman is married with two children.
