Zia Choudhury, MD, earned his medical doctorate and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. He then did his residency training in family medicine at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian-Shadyside in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Zia's staff, the ladies who room us, doing the fisrt Bp's and etc., have always been great. Dr Choudhury is fabilous and I am pleased that he is our family doctor. I do not need calls re: test results. I go to my computer and look up results in MyChart. I also send messages to Dr. Zia and I must say he or his mds's aides are always very goodto get back to me with info I need.

Dr. Zia has always been open and attentive to my concerns, both mental and physical. Shelby his nurse has always been very kind and professional as well as any assistant in the office. Dr Z is a provider I’ve never seen in my life before. Coming from a state where healthcare or the patient wasn’t such a priority, probably due to high demand my family and I are so lucky. His team is always solid, and he is extremely knowledgeable in which almost seems like everything. I’m a nurse and take my healthcare very serious. I would trust Dr. Zia C. With my whole family! I feel incredibly blessed to have such a terrific medical team behind me. I finally feel heard, validated, and truly cared for, for the first time in my life, by a primary care doc. He even knew tiny details about a procedure I had 5 years back. I know he is actually looking at my medical history for knowledge and medical reasons, not for judgement as it so often would feel from precious PCPs. In all of my years seeing Family practice physicians Dr. Zia stands out from the rest. Dr Zia is an amazing diagnostician, he is soo knowledgeable. It amazes me that he remembers conversations we have had in the past about my health and goals. Dr. Zia listens to you, explains everything in laymans terms. When I use My Chart and ask him a medical question he responds immediately (I have never had that happen with other providers). I have to say that Dr. Zia is a physician who takes great interest in your health and wants you to stay healthy. Asante is fortunate to have Dr. Zia on board!

We all learn new things every day he took on my wife [ ] and agreed her thyroid needed removed from [ ] that Dr. [ ] concurred was killing her so after she had her stroke from her [ ], it got removed and she’s doing better, but it took a lot out of her so she’s slowly failing and Dr. Zia is amazing.
