Spears Cancer Center Construction Updates - Asante

Need: Over 2,000 new cases of cancer are diagnosed each year in Jackson and Josephine counties. That number is expected to grow by nearly 20% over the next 10 years.

Cost: $15.2 million

Size: 21,000 additional square feet, for a total of 32,000 square feet (nearly tripling in size)

Location: Two-story building adjacent to the current Spears Cancer Center on the Asante Three Rivers Medical Center campus

Construction: To be completed by early 2022

Crews have also started constructing a new parking lot located west of the Spears Cancer Center, where some storage units used to be. That lot is expected to be done by the end of the year. Click here for a parking map.
