Conveniently located within walking distance of Asante Three Rivers Medical Center, The Family House in Grants Pass provides a comfortable, affordable, home-like setting for patients traveling to receive medical care. Since 2008, thanks to donors, this vital resource has served individuals and families of all ages who live outside the Grants Pass area. Guests can find solace and mutual support in a welcoming environment tailored to their needs during challenging times. Lodging is provided based on availability.

- Five RV spaces (full hook-ups, private RV shower and bathroom available).

If you’re planning a trip to Asante Three Rivers Medical Center, please submit a room request and a staff member will contact you within one business day (Monday-Friday). Filling out the request does not guarantee a room. Rooms are $50 per night, if this is a challenge, please call the number below to discuss options.
You may also request a room by calling us directly at (541) 507-3000 during regular business hours (8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday).
- The maximum length of stay is 12 consecutive days.
- The maximum capacity per room is three people.
Please note that our hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
The Family House exists because of philanthropy
Grants Pass realtors came to Asante with a dream of building an affordable place where patients and their families could stay during a medical crisis. Realtors and other community members came together; donating their time and treasure to create this facility for traveling patients.
Currently, patients are turned away nearly daily due to limited capacity. With your support we can double the size of The Family House from seven to 14 rooms and eight RV spaces to serve more patients. The expansion will alleviate the burden of excessive travel and expensive lodging for those that must travel for medical care. Similar to how The Family House was built through donations, the expansion will be made possible through 100% community support.
