Lab tests

Asante performs more than two million lab tests per year. Experts in our Pathology Laboratory and 24-hour Clinical Laboratory work to serve you in blood banking, hematology, chemistry, microbiology, anatomic pathology, cytology, microscopy, parasitology, serology and virology.

Results are sent directly to your medical provider.

Medical team

Lab tests start with your doctor, who may order laboratory testing as part of your care. At our laboratories, your blood is drawn by a phlebotomist, a specialist in collecting blood samples. Clinical laboratory scientists study your specimen and deliver results to your doctor.

Asante works in association with Mayo Medical Laboratories, the national reference laboratory of Mayo Clinic, located in Rochester, Minnesota, to provide an expanding laboratory-testing menu. Through this arrangement, we offer our community immediate collaborative access to complex tests performed by Mayo Medical Laboratories.
