Inpatient Rehabilitation Is Tailored To Your Specific Needs
Asante offers inpatient therapy services for hospitalized patients needing additional care before returning home following an injury, illness, or surgery at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.
Patients admitted to our Inpatient Rehabilitation Center work with a team of experts to develop a highly personalized therapy schedule with specific goals tailored to help them recover motor coordination, speech, memory, and coordination skills. Our experts include a physiatrist (a doctor specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation), rehabilitation nurses, physical and occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists, a medical social worker, and a dietitian.
A typical day in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Center begins at 7 a.m., ends at 4:30 p.m., and includes three hours of therapy. Patients receive therapy from multiple specialties as well as education and training—all in a safe, healing environment.
Most patients stay an average of 11 days, but the length of stay depends on the specific diagnosis and patient needs. The therapy team tracks patient progress, meets regularly, and adjusts individual treatment plans as needed.
