Childbirth education in Grants Pass

Childbirth Education Program at Asante Ashland Community Hospital

In-person childbirth education class

Childbirth classes are available at the Women’s Health Center of Southern Oregon. The classes are recommended for first-time parents and cover the stages of labor, exercises, creating a birth plan, breathing techniques, natural coping strategies, information about cesarean section deliveries and a tour of the Family Birth Center. Pre-registration is required. Call (541) 479-8363 for a schedule of classes. The fee is $55 and is covered by some insurance carriers.

Mom's support group

The Mom's support group meets most Wednesday's from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. at the Asante Outpatient Center in Grants Pass and is open to all breastfeeding parents.
