Childbirth education programs in Medford

We encourage you to join other expectant parents in this fun, supportive setting to fully prepare you for the birth experience.

In-person classes

Breastfeeding

We are now offering free breastfeeding classes taught by a certified lactation consultant. This 2-hour class will cover information to help you get off to a good start with breastfeeding. It will cover basic breastfeeding concepts, what to expect in the early weeks, how to identify and deal with common challenges, and where to obtain ongoing resources and support. Partner attendance is encouraged!

This one-hour class will help you navigate breast pump options and how they work. We will review how to choose the best pump for your needs, fitting, uses, and more.

Childbirth education

We offer in-person childbirth classes taught by a Labor and Delivery Certified Registered Nurse. This 8-hour class covers core childbirth topics including signs of labor, when to call your provider, stages of labor, pain management, different methods of delivery, relaxation and ways your partner can support you during labor. Partner attendance is encouraged!

Childbirth education

We understand you may be busy and it may be difficult to fit another event on your calendar. To accommodate your busy schedule, we offer a recorded online childbirth class taught by one of our Labor and Delivery Certified Registered Nurses. This 2-hour online class covers core childbirth topics you can view at your own pace. Educational booklets will be mailed to you to further your independent education.
