Texting policy
When you give Asante, or one of our partner organizations, your mobile phone number, you agree to receive helpful text messages related to your care. These may include appointment reminders, MyChart alerts (such as security codes), prescription updates, billing notifications, and other important information needed to support your care.
Your consent
By providing your mobile number, you are giving permission for Asante, and our partner organizations, to send these messages, including messages sent through automated systems. We will not send marketing or promotional texts without your written permission.
Costs and message frequency
Message frequency will vary depending on your visits and care needs. Your mobile carrier may charge message or data fees. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How to stop text messages
You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to the message you received. You will get a single confirmation message letting you know the opt‑out was successful. If you want to start receiving messages again, reply HELP or update your MyChart communication preferences.

Who are Asante’s partner organizations?
Asante’s partner organizations are independent healthcare providers who use Asante’s shared electronic medical record system. This includes organizations such as Sky Lakes Medical Center. If you receive care from one of these organizations, the same messaging rules and terms apply.
Text appointment reminders and patient satisfaction survey notices
To help you stay on top of health care appointments, Asante sends text message reminders. We’ll also send you a text to participate in a survey to share your experience as a patient that will help us improve the care we provide.

Your privacy
We include only the minimum information necessary in each message. We do not send marketing content unless you give written permission. To learn more about how your information is protected, please review the Notice of Privacy Practices for Asante or the partner organization where you receive care.
